Abstract
The irruption of technology in all its forms, including AI and the Metaverse, into the legal world forces all practitioners in the field to question whether the law, as we have practiced it until now, will undergo changes in its nature, structure, and function. Law intervenes in a reality, the virtual one, devoid of its inherent finite elements of time and space. The fragmentation of the individual into data with its own legal and economic autonomy is changing the paradigms of law. The criminogenic effects of the web are analyzed. The use of AI in drafting legislative acts, including constitutions, gives algorithms a pivotal role: the de-somatization of reality leads to a completely different law: algorithmic law
