Abstract

The essay examines the issue of the legal qualification of the sports agent in the light of the F.I.G.C. regulations and also of the recent regulatory novelties. The research takes its cue from two recent decisions of the Court of Verona concerning the recognition of the privilege under Article 2751 bis, n. 2, of the Italian Civil Code, to sports agent remunerations, deriving from representation agreements for consultancy activities in negotiations regarding the transfer or registration of players.
