Abstract

Spanish Law 39/2022 of 30 December on sport has repealed and replaced Law 10/1990 of 15 October on sport. A matter of special interest is the regulation of the legal model of professional sport, and in particular of the professional leagues as second-degree associations in charge of organising professional competitions. This paper analyses the conception that the new Law offers of these entities and their relations with the Sports Federations, showing that it is a continuist model, although with greater specificity and detail
