Piattaforma di Telemedicina e Fascicolo Sanitario Elettronico: il raccordo dei flussi informativi per i servizi sanitari digitali alla luce delle nuove linee guida

Abstract

In the digitization of public health, the strengthening of telemedicine is aimed at facilitating acute and chronic taking charge of the patient, supporting dehospitalization and quality of proximity care. Electronic Health Record and telemedicine platforms, mutually connected, contribute in the implementation of clinical processes, also of technological governance, data collection and provision of services to citizens and professionals, relying on cloud structures, realizing the interoperability of processes as well as services for treatment and prevention aims, also through personalized initiative and precision medicine. EHR is the only route of access to health services for the citizen, for the purposes of consulting documents, but also for booking and paying for services. The new Guidelines provide for the application of a "micro-service" architecture to the regional platforms, while ensuring flexibility, extensibility of telemedicine solutions, effectiveness and efficiency of clinical care processes through the network with the national digital platform. The certification obligation exists only if medical devices integrated into the platform are used.
