Abstract

The maritime state-owned concessions for tourist-accommodation purposes represent a very important reality for our country, not only from an economic point of view, but also (and above all) for the repercussions they have on the coastal heritage. The nature of these concessions and their legal regime have been at the center of the debate between legal and non-law scholars for several years now, also in consideration of the importance of the topic. Currently, the bathing concessions in place amount to 27,335 and, in almost all cases, the owners of the same, against a negligible annual fee, have given life to a real business, also making huge investments.
